Ha – no, definitely not something she would have taught, Ilene. It’s a Sephardic Rosh Hashana expression, in Ladino – Judeo Spanish. Me being me, what I wrote below isn’t really an exact translation. That would be “many years, and good ones.” Have a lovely holiday! 🙂
